Stopping Drugs by Stopping Supply and Demand

The goal of the drug treatment center intiatives is to work with local leadership to reduce both domestic demand and supply. To this end, drug rehab concentrates on the following targets: local and regional drug market disruption; strategic utilization of datasets from the areas of prevention, treatment, and enforcement; establishment of effective community prevention Drug Treatment Centers; regular and ongoing evaluations of effort with local officials; drug courts; development and utilization of local data to respond to drug threats; student drug testing & drug rehab; coordinated treatment systems using SBIRT; and strategic prevention messaging in the media.
