Sorry, David, I wouldn’t know, and I tend to doubt it.

My favorite theory is what the TV show Mythbusters concluded in one episode:

It didn’t matter what kind of sound, louder was better for plant growth.

According to this concept, plants in the fighting house would probably grow

faster!

Then they’d outgrow the pot and die sooner.

So I guess you almost have a point, they would last longer in a peaceful,

quiet home.

Of course some happy homes are very noisy….

If plants are somehow spiritual readings or spiritually sensitive, that’s an even more

subtle effect

than having circulation thru plant pores enhanced by sound.

Nobody has scientifically proved it that I know of.

(I had a still un-resolved hobby-bench experience when younger,

but it was in the presence of a known prankster….)

We have no scientific theory of anything that would physically enable

It’s not really a “scientificable” question,

because “happy” is slippery to define, and because homes are very

complicated places.
